We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help shape the future of Dutch healthcare by leading our commercial efforts in the Netherlands. You will join a small, fast-paced team focused on the Dutch market, playing a pivotal role in accelerating Platform24’s growth and ensuring our solutions benefit as many patients and clinicians as possible.
With a deep understanding of our SaaS product portfolio and our customers’ needs, you will represent Platform24 in the market—generating leads, building and nurturing strong client relationships. You will actively seek new business opportunities, execute sales activities, and craft innovative strategies to build our presence.
You will work as part of both the Dutch and the international Commercial teams, collaborating closely across borders. Together, we support one another to achieve our goals and overcome challenges. As we build our business in the Netherlands step by step, your consultative and tailored approach will ensure we provide solutions that truly fit each customer—never a one-size-fits-all offering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business Development & Networking
- Pursue new business opportunities through tenders, new market segments, grants, partnerships, and other channels.
- Build, expand, and nurture a strong stakeholder network across the Dutch healthcare ecosystem.
- Develop compelling business cases for emerging customer segments.
- Represent Platform24 at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
- New Customer Acquisition
- IIdentify and approach potential customers—including hospitals, healthcare organizations, and care providers—for Platform24.
- Deliver impactful sales presentations, tailored product demos, and lead commercial negotiations to secure new contracts.
- Collaborate with the Swedish marketing team to develop and execute lead-generation strategies and create targeted materials.
- Strategic & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs and market demands, providing insights to guide priorities.
- Develop and execute effective sales plans, from market analysis to actionable strategies aligned with national and company goals.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships built on trust, collaboration, and partnership.
What you bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in customer-facing roles such as business development, sales, account management, or customer success, ideally within healthcare.
- Knowledge of the Dutch healthcare landscape and IT ecosystem. An existing network in hospitals or specialist care is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated motivation and ability to quickly learn the setup, options, and functionalities of our SaaS product.
- Proven ability to independently initiate and drive sales processes, develop and execute lead-generation campaigns, and close deals.
- Consultative, solution-oriented approach: able to tailor proposals for each customer rather than relying on standard product packaging.
- Strategic mindset and commercial acumen—skilled at developing sales plans, identifying new opportunities, and consistently driving results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Team player who is eager to learn, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and occasionally to Stockholm for meetings, training, and industry events.
- High energy, drive, and a positive, can-do mindset; passionate about improving healthcare efficiency, quality, and accessibility.
