Product & Medical Content Manager (medical doctor), Platform24
At Platform24, physicians, engineers, and designers work side by side to build software that makes healthcare safer, more accessible, and more efficient — for both clinicians and patients. We're the Nordic market leader in automated medical triage and are actively expanding internationally, with customers ranging from large regional health authorities to specialist clinics and insurance companies.
A central part of what we offer is our medical content — triage flows that guide patients to the right level of care, structured care plans, and remote patient monitoring pathways that collect clinical history and support continuity of care. As our Product Manager and Medical Content Manager, you'll lead the team that develops, maintains, and evolves this content across all of our product areas. This role reports to the Chief Product Officer and carries real strategic weight in how Platform24 positions itself clinically.
How we work
The combination of clinical experience and technical innovation is one of our greatest strengths — and this role sits right at the intersection. You'll work closely with developers and UX designers every day, translating what patients and clinicians need into what engineers can build. You won't work in a silo; you'll be deeply embedded in the product organisation, connecting medicine and technology across everything you do.
A key part of the role is building a working understanding of the logic layer that powers our triage and care content — the rules, decision trees, and clinical reasoning built into the platform. You don't need to be a developer, but you do need to be curious about how that logic works under the hood — able to read it, reason about it, and have constructive conversations about it with the team. This hands-on engagement is what makes people effective in the role.
Your role
Set the clinical direction. You'll help shape where our medical content is heading — identifying where it creates or limits value, proposing development priorities, and contributing to how we position ourselves in the market. You'll work closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to keep clinical ambition and the product roadmap aligned.
Steward medical content across the product. Your team is responsible for medical content across the entire Platform24 product surface: triage flows, Care Plans, Remote Patient Monitoring, and future product areas. You'll prioritize capacity across these areas, balancing customer requests with proactive content development.
Improve quality through data. Content quality is evaluated continuously. You'll identify and address patterns of under- and overtriage based on outcome and utilization data, and run structured follow-up cycles to make sure improvements stick. Safety comes first — you'll nurture a culture that catches risks early and learns from incidents, in close coordination with our CMO.
Listen to and support customers. You'll meet customers regularly, listen to their problems, distinguish stated needs from underlying needs, and ensure support requests are handled swiftly. A high level of care and responsiveness is the standard.
Represent Platform24 externally. This is a visible role within the Nordic digital healthcare ecosystem. You'll represent us in customer meetings, industry webinars, conferences, and sector debates — contributing to our reputation as a clinically credible and trusted partner.
Build and lead the MedCon team. You're the direct manager: hiring, onboarding, performance conversations, individual goals, and regular feedback. You'll create an environment where clinically trained colleagues can do their best work — with clear documentation, thoughtful onboarding, and routines that help the team focus on what matters.
What you need
Licensed Medical Doctor. This is a clinical leadership role, medical training and experience is essential.
Full professional fluency in Swedish. A core part of the role is crafting triage content in Swedish, where the precise wording of both questions and answer options directly affects patient safety. You need to write and reason about clinical language with native-level precision.
Comfort with data and analysis. You enjoy working with data, drawing conclusions from it, and using it to inform decisions about content quality and priorities.
Curiosity about technology. You have experience — or a genuine interest — in working closely with software development teams and engaging with technical product logic. You don't need to code, but you want to understand how the system thinks.
Communication and collaboration skills. You can represent medical content quality credibly in external settings, and you naturally seek input from clinicians, customers, and colleagues. You're someone who brings people together around shared goals.
Nice to have
Experience from digital health, clinical informatics, medical content development, digital transformation, or regulated product environments. Previous experience leading a team is also valued, as is familiarity with decision trees, clinical pathway systems, or logic-based content tools.
Practical experience of Agile processes
